If you are facing a task to presenting a topic which seems won’t be enough to explain it using words and still pictures, It would be useful to use videos on the slides to support your explanation. Wondering how? Here are what you have to do to embed video into a PowerPoint slide.
On the main page of the PowerPoint, open an existing file or create a new file, and take the slide you want to put the video on it. Click on the Insert button on the top menu, choose Movie & Sound, and pick the Move from File. It is recommended to use WMV or AVI video files for better result. Then the Dialogue box will be appeared, choose the way you want this movie to be played, automatically or when clicked, and done. You can now have the video on your slide. You can also freely to resize the video and place it around the page. If you want more video, you can do the same thing as the first video.
Just to remember, since that the PowerPoint do not copied the video on their file, then it is recommended to put or copy the video into the same folder with the PowerPoint file. By doing this if in case you have to use another computer, you will never forget to bring this video file too.
