To avoid having oversized pictures, you can compress their size by using the compress utility. You can find it in PowerPoint 2002 and 2003. How? Here’s what you have to do. Pick the picture, right click on it, and choose Format Picture. You can choose either to compress all the pictures, or the selected only. In change resolution, choose Web/Screen for slideshow presentation, or Print, for printing presentation. Under options, check the Compress Pictures’ box and Delete Cropped Areas of Pictures. Then Click OK.
